Metric: Correlating attendance at face-to-face library instruction sessions with the student success indicator of successful course completion.
Analysis: Only courses where the attendance at library instruction sessions exceeded a combined total of 50 for the Fall and Spring terms were considered..This was the second academic year that data comparing course completion rates -- with and without library instruction -- was available. Across the board students attained higher course completion rates when they received library instruction than when they did not -- a strong argument for faculty to include library instruction in these courses that incorporate research-based assignments. Unfortunately, due to the cost of the software used to collect this data, and the scheduled onboarding of a new data collection system in the future, this course completion comparison data will not be available for 2020-21.
