Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan continues to serve a vital, if perhaps more limited, role in providing information resources to students and faculty. After some staff turnover we now have two staff actively monitoring and responding to internal and external requests. Although the lending and borrowing of physical materials was curtailed during the peak of the COVID pandemic, requests for electronic items were still fulfilled without interruption.
Interlibrary Loan Trends
Metric: A tally of the number of books, articles, media, and other items that were lent to or borrowed from other libraries.
Analysis: Overall the number of interlibrary loan transactions remains low compared to previous years, and we have become a "Net Lender" again this year -- loaning more to other libraries than we borrow.
