Supporting efforts to address the college's Student Learning Outcome on Information Literacy is the cornerstone of the work of the faculty and staff of the Seminole State College Libraries. This is typically most directly addressed through group instruction in a variety of formats, but it also addressed through Individual Library Assistance, Access to Library Resources, and Access to Library Spaces. While these other areas are addressed elsewhere in this review, for this section on Information Literacy Instruction, the focus is on faculty librarians teaching as invited guests in synchronous class sessions that could be in-person or online, librarians being "embedded" in disciplinary courses within the learning management system, librarians providing modular content that faculty upload to their courses in the learning management system, and librarians teaching credit-bearing courses on information literacy and research strategies.
