Metric: The number of individual questions asked at a library service point between July 1 and June 30.
Analysis: As might be expected, the COVID-19 pandemic clearly had an impact on the number of questions asked at the college libraries, and particularly on the number of directional/informational questions. While the number of those types of questions dipped considerably, the number of reference questions (focused more on research assignments) actually held steady, indicating that students were able to connect with librarians for assistance in spite of the reduced use of campus facilities.
