ACRL Project Outcome is a relatively new nationwide program from the Association of College and Research Libraries to provide academic libraries with a standardized method to measure the impact of library services, resources, and spaces on students. Through a variety of surveys students can self-report on such variables as increased knowledge, confidence, awareness, etc. There is potential to not only use those survey results internally, but also to benchmark those against other participating college libraries in Florida and elsewhere.
We are just beginning to explore the use of these surveys at the College Libraries, but below is a great example of the reporting provided by this platform, reflecting 37 student responses to the survey focused on Instruction, used by Dr. Karen Kaufmann in sections of ENC 1102 this past Spring term.
