A method to provide instruction that is gaining popularity among discipline faculty is to upload a Canvas module on an information literacy topic directly into their course shell. Unlike other forms of information literacy instruction, this usage may not specifically involve the direct participation of a librarian in a particular class -- indeed the librarian(s) who author the module(s) may not even know all of the classes that have uploaded the modules. Some of the modules, however, have elements connected to the Springshare suite of library tools, so we are able to collect some usage data that way, reflected below. The available modules are:
