Individual Library Assistance refers to one-on-one transactions between students, faculty, staff, and even community members with library faculty and staff. Many times these transactions are related to completing course assignments, but can run the gamut from complex research inquiries to basic directional questions. Transactions classified as Reference/Research are documented in a dataset, with a variety of descriptive criteria applied to each transaction, and transactions classified as Directional are tracked on a tally sheet.
