Through the Seminole State College library, students and professors have access to numerous academic sources - books and periodicals in print and online, images, videos, and numerous other online resources. Many of these materials will be usable in your courses!
Use the search box below to begin searching for materials that may work for class readings, textbooks, or assignments. Try searching for your course name, or a topic that you'll be assigning as a class reading.
Some books will be labeled as Open Access titles, all of which will function perfectly as OER readings for your course.
Other books, though, may still be useful to your course! Try to find a note that shows you how many licenses we own for the book...or in other words, how many students can access the book simultaneously.
Unlimited access is ideal!
But many books will offer fewer licenses - from one user at a time to several. You'll want to consider that as you select readings from the library - will one copy suffice for your course? Would three or four work? Or would unlimited be necessary?
