Controlled Digital Lending Books

What is Controlled Digital Lending?

The SSC Library's Controlled Digital Lending program allows students to virtually access copies of textbooks owned by the library, much like our traditional Course Reserves service. These books have been scanned from the original print sources and follow the same rules as our Course Reserves materials.

Students may access available textbooks by using the links listed for each course.

How to Use It

Step #1: Once you click a book's link, you will first need to download and install the MyDocs app for your browser or device. It is a free tool that manages the scanned books and allows access.

Step #2: Once you have downloaded the software, you will be able to checkout the book now or save it for later. Clicking the checkout link will open the book to view. You will not be permitted to download/save or print pages from these books - they are purely for reading.
