Thanks in part to a mini-grant funded by the Foundation for Seminole State, Campus READ is a program sponsored by the Seminole State College Libraries offered for the first time in Spring 2025.
The program allows students to read a selected title together and explore the work and its meaning, as well as, take part in related activities connected to the book and it's author.
Campus READ benefits students, faculty and staff by fostering a love for reading and creating a sense of community and shared experience. The program encourages students to engage with library services across the college campuses and online.
A variety of programming creates new connections between students, faculty and staff, through read-aloud sessions, silent book reads, book discussions, and potentially, author talks.
Campus READ is especially geared toward students in the First Year Experience program in support of the QEP.
