Do you need help logging in to the library's online resources?
It's a common occurrence: you are trying to access online resources such as articles from databases, streaming media, audiobooks, and ebooks.
According to librarians, the login screen and required credentials have recently changed. You are now required to use your Canvas username and password, also known as the Seminole State College Network Account, which is also used for VerifyMyFAFSA, College email, Handshake, and campus computers and wi-fi login. Librarians advise that you must remove the word "live" from the email username, otherwise you will not be able to log in.
You will come across this new login screen when you access online resources from the library's homepage, through the online catalog search box, the Articles and Databases link, or in a Libguide via the Guides and Tutorials link.
On occasion, you may see the former login screen, which requires different credentials, especially when using links inside Canvas courses. In those cases, log in with your Canvas login name without the email domain and the last four digits of your Social or Student ID number.
Once again, use your Canvas username and Canvas password on the sign in page for access to library online resources. And remember to omit the word "live" from the email username.
