This website has clinical practice guidelines developed by the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO). The guidelines are developed by an expert panel of nurses and health professionals through a rigorous process involving a systematic review of the most current literature, and input from guideline-specific external stakeholders. All guidelines are reviewed every 5 years to assess the currency of the information and recommendations.
Founded in 2002, G-I-N is a global network of 100 international organizations, and a major player on the global healthcare quality stage. It seeks to improve the quality of health care through international collaboration by promoting the systematic development of clinical practice guidelines and their application into practice.
