SSC College Libraries Annual Review 2023-24

Metric:  The number of information literacy instruction sessions delivered synchronously, either in-person or online, in another discipline faculty member’s class, for the Fall 2023, Spring 2024, and Summer 2024 terms.

Analysis:  In the 2023-24 academic year librarians taught 143 synchronous sessions reaching 2,659 students; 130 face-to-face sessions and 13 online sessions.  This is a 16.9% decrease in sessions and an a 14.6% decrease in the number of students reached over the previous year.  Librarians worked with 59 different discipline faculty in 22 different courses (down from 62 faculty and 32 courses the year prior), and ENC and IDS courses accounted for the majority of sections taught.
