Efforts to engage students through co-curricular programming initiated by the library or held at the libraries gained momentum in 2023-24, with huge increases in the number of events and the level of attendance.
Metric: The number of all programs held at the campus libraries, plus the number of library-related programs held on a campus or online, and the number of attendees at all programming events.
Metric: A comparison of course completion rates for students who attended a library event compared to those who did not. The premise underlying the analysis is that broader engagement in student activities positively impacts student success. In each academic term during 2023-24, there was an increase in student success rates for those who did attend a library programming event, and registered for attending via Raider Connect -- 7.6% in the Fall, 5.6% in the Spring, and % in the Summer.
